Why do I need insurance as a coach for US Figure Skating?

US Figure Skating has minimum insurance standards its coaches need to abide by; please refer to your franchisee agreement for more information. In addition to the minimum requirement, insurance protects your business and assets from common risks associated with running youth sports programs. Players Health provides an insurance benefit to coaches for US Figure Skating with both General Liability coverage for your business and participant accident coverage for accidents that happen associated with sports.

What Insurance lines are offered by Players Health as a coach for US Figure Skating?

  • General Liability Coverage with the following limits:

    1. $1,000,000 occurrence / $5,000,000 aggregate

    2. $500,000 occurrence / $500,000 aggregate for Sexual Abuse/Molestation Coverage (SAM)

  • Participant Accident Coverage

    1. $50,000 per occurrence

How do I receive my proof of coverage?

When you complete your insurance enrollment online, you will automatically receive a Certificate of Insurance (COI) in the email inbox you signed up with, and any additional insureds listed when you sign up. If you've completed purchase and have yet to receive your COI, please check your spam/junk folder in your email.

To review your policies in the future, navigate here to access the safety hub, and click "Safety Hub Log In" in the upper-right corner to log in. If you have yet to create an account, click the "Sign Up" button to create your account. Please note that a completed policy purchase is required to access the Safety Hub.


How do I file a claim?

  • You can file a claim with our claims team by logging into the Safety Hub with your username and password.

How do I request future COI needs? This includes “Additional Insureds” or “Primary/Non-Contributory” endorsements.

  • You can request policy endorsements by logging into the Safety Hub with your username and password. If you purchased a policy but have yet to create an account, click the "Sign Up" button on the top-right.
